Keema is a basically a minced lamb curry, this one uses lamb mince but it can also use other types of minced meat. This is the easiest and quickest recpie and it meeds a handful of ingredients.
This dish is a favourite dish of our family. Me and my cousins call this as ‘kothukari kulambhu’ . We can have with idli or poori. This dish is so juicy as the meat is well cooked and the best way to begin your day.The below is the recipe,
INGREDIENTS
- Lamb 500 grams
- Green Cardamom -2 no’s
- Clover -4 no’s
- Bay leaf -1
- Sombhu – 1 tablespoon
- Ginger and garlic paste -1 tablespoon
- Onion – 3 big chopped finely
- Tomatoes – 3 chopped finely
- Green chilli – 2 slit
- Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
- Redchilli powder – 1 tablespoon (Spiciness can be adjusted)
- Salt -To taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing.
STEPS
- Heat oil in the pan and add the spices

- Add finely minced onions and Saute it

- Add Ginger and Garlic paste

- Add tomatoes and saute well

- Add all the spices and saute for a minute till the raw smell goes

- Add lamb kheema and mix well

- Add a half cup of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles in medium flame. Lamb kheema is done

- Garnish with coriander leaves.
